Exline Custom Auto, LLC offers a 1985 to 1996 C-4 corvette suspension conversion for 1963 to 1982 Chevrolet corvettes.

We take your factory frame, or we can supply one for you, and have it sand blasted to reveal any rust damage. Then install it in our precision chassis jig and perform all of the welding and cutting modifications to mount the C4 suspension to your frame. After the conversion is done all 1985-96 suspension components will bolt right on to your frame.






We can also install engine mounts and transmission mounts of your choosing, anything from stock to the LS1 and six- speed combination will work fine. Your original wheels will no longer fit due to the wider width of the C4 suspension. You will need to use wheels designed for the 1985-96 Corvette. We recommend the 1985-87 suspension with 8”-8.5” wheels and 7.25” backspacing to clear the fenders. If wider fenders are going to be used, the 1988-96 suspension with bigger wheels will work better but the wheels will need to be at least 17” or larger to clear the brakes.






The exterior of your car will look stock with the exception of the wheels needing to work with the new suspension. The interior however will need modified to clear the new differential and shocks. Some fiberglass cutting will be required in the areas outlined in red in the picture to your right.
